The Sherwood Group is proud to announce that we have been ‘Highly Commended‘ at the UK Packaging Awards 2024, held on 10th October at the prestigious Grosvenor House on Park Lane, in the heart of London.
This recognition highlights our dedication to delivering sustainable and socially responsible packaging solutions in collaboration with leading brands. Two of our innovative projects, the Flowers Hydration Pot and the Lil-lets Dispenser, were shortlisted for these prestigious awards, further reinforcing our position as industry leaders in eco-friendly packaging.
Flowers Hydration Pot – Highly Commended for ‘Cartonboard Pack of the Year’
Flowers Hydration Pot, developed with Bunches, a leading online flower shop, received Highly Commended in the competitive ‘Cartonboard Pack of the Year’ category. This innovative solution integrates The Sherwood Group’s Puracoat® sustainable barrier coating, ensuring it is fully recyclable and biodegradable in line with BS EN 13432 standards.
Previously recognised with an award at the Environmental Packaging Awards, the Hydration Pot underscores our commitment to creating packaging that is both functional and environmentally responsible.
Lil-lets Dispenser – Highly Commended for ‘Reusable Pack of the Year’
Lil-lets Dispenser, a refillable packaging solution developed in close collaboration with Lil-lets, was also Highly Commended in the ‘Reusable Pack of the Year’ category.
The Lil-lets dispenser is more than just a packaging solution; it represents a significant step forward in workplace sustainability. By offering a convenient and reusable dispenser, Lil-Lets not only reduces waste but also ensures that employees have easy access to essential products, helping to diminish the stigma and inconvenience associated with menstruation in the workplace.
