The Sherwood Group is delighted to announce the opening of the Semplice quality assurance and testing office in Xie Gang City, China. The Group’s Far East division, operating under its subsidiaries, SPHK and Semplice manufacturing site, has been consistently providing exceptional print management services and high-quality printed products directly from the Far East to the UK since 2003.
In 2022, The Group forged a joint venture operation with two print and packaging companies, both located in Shenzhen, China. This collaboration was aimed at offering customers an even more extensive range of products, services, and production capacities. To complement these extended services, Semplice has now opened a state-of-the-art quality assurance and testing office in Xie Gang.
The new facility will operate as a hub for component sourcing, purchasing, quality inspections, and quality testing. The expanded services, in conjunction with the new partnerships, encompass the printing of greeting cards, toys and games, books, gift boxes, confectionery boxes, wood pulp bio-degradable products, and various other food packaging options. This initiative positions The Sherwood Group to further expand its international presence and cater to customers and markets in Australia and the USA.
Derek Lam, Managing Director of Semplice expressed his enthusiasm about the expansion, stating:

The Sherwood Group’s global team has over 20 years of experience in providing top-tier global manufacturing solutions to UK customers. Jeremy Bacon, Chief Executive Officer of the Group, joined the team to officially open the new office in November 2023.
Looking forward, Jeremy Bacon and Richard Hall, Sales and Marketing Director of the Sherwood Group, will travel to Semplice in April 2024 and they will be attending the Hong Kong Gifts and Premium Fair on 27th April 2024.
In June 2024, Derek Lam will be visiting the UK to attend the PG Live show in London, offering a unique opportunity for customers and partners to arrange meeting to discuss Sherwood’s global offering.
Additionally, The Sherwood Group will be showcasing its packaging products and items produced by its global subsidiaries at the Packaging Innovations show in February 2024 at NEC, Birmingham.
